There's not much to explain here, just a nice list of all my relevant* Qualifications and some personal achievements I thought you might like to see.
*I say relevant as I didn't think you'd need to know about my GCSEs, but if you would like to see a copy of my national record of achievement from school please do ask and I'll see if 2001 me put it anywhere safe lol.

my involvement in local and national maternity issues
On 9 January 2024, the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on birth trauma in the UK Parliament set up an inquiry to investigate the reasons for traumatic birth and to develop policy recommendations to reduce the rate of birth trauma.
I submitted a written piece of my lived experience having had traumatic experiences within the maternity system.
Dr. Gemma McKenzie is creating a Threads of Protest exhibition to highlight the human rights violations during pregnancy and birth as well as obstetric violence.
The exhibition is a chance for women to come together to challenge these injustices through the art of crochet.
I have made 6 Granny squares, one for each of my pregnancies.
The exhibits will take place in Southport and London 2025-26.
